Retail Margin Buddy's calculations are provided for convenience only. Always verify figures before finalising a sale or price. Laura King Flowers Limited is not responsible for pricing decisions made using this app, including losses resulting from incorrect inputs or calculation errors.

Not tax or financial advice

Retail Margin Buddy does not provide tax, accounting, or financial advice. The app asks you for your tax rate the first time you open it, and uses only the rate you give it — there is no default and no rate is assumed for you. Enter 0 if you do not charge tax. You can change the rate at any time in Settings, and setting it correctly for where you trade is your responsibility. Confirm correct tax treatment with your accountant or local tax authority.

No warranty

This app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Privacy

The figures you enter — Cost, Margin, Sell Price and your tax rate — stay on your device. They are never sent anywhere, and no record is kept of them. The app has no accounts and no sign-in, shows no advertising, and does not track you or record how you use it.

Retail Margin Buddy is published by Laura King Flowers Limited, which is responsible for the data described below.

The one exception is the in-app purchase. Unlocking the app is handled by Google Play and by RevenueCat, which confirms to the app that the purchase was made and lets you restore it on another device. For that, RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an anonymous identifier it generates for the installation. It does not receive your name, email address, location, contacts, files or an advertising identifier, and none of the figures you calculate are ever sent to it. Data is encrypted in transit.

In-app purchase

Retail Margin Buddy offers one, one-time purchase to unlock the app after the free trial period. This purchase is non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you reinstall the app or sign in on a new device with the same Apple ID or Google account, your purchase can be restored using the “Restore Purchase” option in Settings. Pricing may vary by region and currency as set by the App Store or Google Play.

Requesting deletion of your data

To ask for your data to be deleted, email catsfightingloudly@gmail.com from any address, saying that you would like your Retail Floor Margin Calculator purchase record deleted. No account name or reference is needed, because the app holds neither. Requests are actioned within 30 days.

What is deleted: the purchase record held by RevenueCat for your installation, and the anonymous identifier it generated for it.

What is kept: nothing else, because nothing else is held. The figures you enter never leave your device, so there is no copy of them anywhere to delete. Google Play keeps its own record of the transaction, as it does for every purchase on the store; that record belongs to Google and is governed by Google’s terms rather than by this page.

Worth knowing before you ask: that purchase record is what lets the app recognise you have bought it. Once it is deleted, Restore purchase may no longer return your unlock.
